Will You Choose to See Miracles or Not?

Life is not perfect.  People even less so.  One doesn’t have to look very hard to find the flaws and imperfections.

But life is also beautiful and breathtaking, and love must certainly be the most powerful force in the universe.

Which do you tend to see?  The miracles or the mess?  The perfection or the problems?

What you choose to dwell on will determine whether you see the miracles of life or not.  Want to improve your point of view?  The book of Philippians in the New Testament has the following suggestion:

“Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”  Philippians 4:8

What will you choose to think about today?  Whatever it is, I hope you see miracles.

  1. In the past year I have intentionally tried to be more positive. Doing many things to aid this including catching myself when I’m being negative and stopping it. “We become what we think” and I am trying to think positively. I’m not sure I see the miracles, but I try to find the joy, see the hope, be in the moment. Perhaps that is the miracle – turning this half-glass-empty cynic into a positive person. (and yeah, a couple of long term friends have noticed).
