“Nothing haunts us like the things we don’t say.” Mitch Albom
We feel it. We think it. We want to say it… but we don’t. We let awkwardness and fear keep us from expressing ourselves, saying what’s on our mind.
“What if I embarrass myself?”
“What if I’m rejected?”
“What if she just doesn’t care?”
We put off having the conversation until tomorrow, a tomorrow that sometimes never comes. Time passes, and with it, the opportunity to share our thoughts and feelings with the people we care about.
A missed chance at forgiveness, a much-needed, “I’m sorry.” The lost, “I love you”, leaving you to wonder what might have been.
Nothing haunts us like the things we do not say. Don’t let another day go by leaving important things left unsaid.
Those unspoken words are burden to carry around. It’s better speak our mind and face the consequences.

The things we don’t say, the things we don’t do, the risks we don’t take. They will always haunt us.
