Rushed. Racing. Running behind. Schedule is packed. Too much to do. Not enough time to do it. The “to do” list always larger than the “already done” list. Busyness permeates life like a spreading wildfire.
And certainly, activity and action are important to achieve all we want in life. As Pablo Picasso said,
“Action is the foundational key to all success.”
But it’s important to distinguish between activity and actual progress. In our pursuit of life and all our desired outcomes, it’s easy to fall into the trap of believing that activity equals achievement. We convince ourselves that our busyness brings us closer to the life we want.
“Do not confuse motion and progress. A rocking horse keeps moving but does not make any progress.” Alfred A. Montapert
Make sure the actions you take today are moving you in the direction of your dreams.
Very good advice 🙂

Thanks. Sometimes it feels like busyness is like gravity, always pulling at you. I hope you find some wonderful quiet moments in your day. : )
