1000 Words – It’s NEVER Too Late

1000 Words is a collection of quick reads to help me find perspective in the midst of everyday life, small reminders to keep pursuing life to the fullest.

“It’s NEVER too late to change the direction of your life.”

With 2017 all but over, it’s a natural time to reflect on the year that was.  As with every year, 2017 was punctuated with great moments, good, not so good and really hard times.

The year will close with goals not reached, promises not kept, and dreams not pursued.  One could easily get discouraged by the failure to achieve all the goals set forth last January, twelve short months ago.

T. S. Eliot said, “Every moment is a fresh beginning.” 2018 is full of new moments.  Rather than dwell on any perceived failures of last year, embrace the fact that 2018 is here, and every moment within is a fresh beginning.

Regardless of where you’ve been, or where you hoped to be, remember… it’s NEVER too late to change the direction of your life.
