A Different Point of View

We get used to seeing the world a certain way.  We appreciate the familiar and we seek out the things that make us comfortable.  New things push us outside our comfort zone.  And while we intellectually understand that growth comes when we try new things and develop new skills, the gravity of the comfort zone keeps our feet rooted firmly in the familiar.

So many of the great things in life are put on the top shelf, just out of reach.  To take hold of the good things in life we are required to grow and stretch, to become more capable and determined.  And in the process, we realize that everything we desire is within reach.

We miss the best life has to offer when we limit our vision to what we already know.  The best in life might simply mean being willing to see things from a new and different perspective.
